Using an acne face wash and an acne body wash every day does certainly seem to go a long way to reducing my outbreaks. Nonetheless, I think stress is underestimated as a cause of acne. Of all the theories I have examined on how to prevent acne, the ones that deal with lowering stress levels are the most effective for me in the long run. Even though there is not a direct connection between staying active and exercising a lot, such measures are proven to lower stress and so indirectly are a great ways to prevent acne. Exercise seems to be a satisfactory way to prevent all things bad in life, does not it? Not only are you preventing acne in a roundabout way, but you are also preventing cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and you are boosting your body's ability to fight off many other diseases as well. Incidentally, all of these diseases also seem to have a stress component to them.
